A Mastermind of Your Own

Where are all the people? If you’re like me, you find yourself asking this question a few times a week. Let’s face it, the lone wolf style of working – whether you’re an entrepreneur, a remote worker, or a freelancer – can be awesome and a little lonely.

Being in the consulting, training, and coaching space for almost a decade now, I’ve worked with many smart colleagues who I trust and now call my friends. A few months ago we decided that our ad hoc lunches dates were fun, but not as structured and purposeful as we wished. We could either pay a boat-load of money to join someone else’s mastermind group or create our own.

Since we’re a bunch of lone wolf doers...we launched our very own mastermind group that meets once per month. Keeping it small and flexible with people you trust are the keys to ensuring that we all show up. Our goals for the group are to:

  • To support each other’s business and personal goals.

  • To share ideas, resources, and advice.

  • To hold each other accountable.

  • To feel less alone.

So go forth into the wild and be the masters of your minds. Because together is better.
