LISA PERTOSO BIO

Lisa Pertoso is a learning designer, facilitator, and organizational coach. She founded Follow the Fear, an experiential learning company that helps leaders and organizations prepare for the future of work by developing the human skills needed to navigate the changing workplace.

Lisa believes that our most important human skills are developed through experiences, and that the experiences that scare us are our biggest teachers.

She’s led workshops, classes, and talks for the public and for clients including BMW Group, Brooklyn Public Library, Con Edison, TBWA, and Pragmatic Institute.

Prior to founding Follow the Fear, Lisa was the Director of Executive Education Programs at Hyper Island and a leadership coach at The Flatiron School and Teal. She received her Master’s in International Relations with a focus on human rights. Lisa was also the author of the viral 100 First Dates project, which was featured in Glamour Magazine, Women’s Health Magazine and People.com.
